Background:
Frederik graduated with a BA (Hons) in Hospitality Finance & Revenue Management from Glion Institute of Higher Education in 2007. Since then, he has built more than 20 years of experience across hotel operations, consulting, and hotel real estate asset management.
He began his career with Kempinski and Starwood Hotels & Resorts in Switzerland and Brussels before returning to Scandinavia, where he held operational roles with Strawberry (formerly Nordic Choice Hotels). After several years in hotel operations, most recently at THE THIEF in Oslo, he moved into consulting as an Associate Partner at Nordic Hotel Consulting before joining PwC in 2018. Before joining Hotelintel, Frederik spent six years as Director of Asset Management at Host Hoteleiendom. There, he was commercially and technically responsible for a portfolio of 11 hotel properties across Scandinavia, totaling approximately 100,000 m².
Leisure: Outside of work, Frederik enjoys staying active through cross-country skiing, mountain biking, and running. He's also a passionate trout angler and likes spending time in the mountains whenever he gets the chance.
