Background: Tore has a bachelor's degree from Hotel Institute Montreux in Switzerland. A master's degree from Cornell University in New York and the Hotel College in Stavanger. He has considerable experience from the renowned consulting company Horwath HTL in their Oslo and London offices. Before that he worked closely with operators to maintain and improve brand standards, while working for Quality Improvement. The extensive experience from the world's highest rated cruise companies gave Tore intimate knowledge on how to deliver a high-end service product.
Tore has conducted feasibility, market and profitability analyses for hotel and tourism projects and participated in several operator search and selection for hotels in Norway and internationally. The annual Norwegian Hotel Industry Report has been published by him for the last six years. Tore collaborates closely with Wiederstrøm Hotel Consulting to every year deliver the best possible report and with selected projects and clients in the Norwegian market. More than ten years in consulting ensures an extensive network in the Scandinavian hospitality industry.
